The fruit of the Blue Cypress tree has a surprising variety and contrast of colours. Deep rusts and browns within and purples and blues without. Mother Nature is a painter right down to the tiny details.
The Blue Cypress Collection captures some of those beautiful hues in yarn, roving, and rolags so that you have a choice of fiber play.
100g (3.5oz) of Fine Superwash Merino combed top in the full palette of soft Blue Cypress colors. This fiber is carefully dyed and air-dried for maximum loft and spin readiness. It is so incredibly soft!
Fall Y’all showcases our favourite season. This is a twice dyed yarn which, for us, evokes a forest floor of freshly fallen autumn leaves. (also shown with Ferruginous)

100g (3.5oz) of Fine Superwash Merino combed top in bold versions of the Blue Cypress colours, Kitchen Sink is carefully dyed in small batches and air dried for maximum fluff and spin readiness. It is so incredibly soft!
The soft palette of purples, blues and rusts in these rolags refects the softness of the fiber. Corriedale wool, mulberry silk, touches of merino and flax, and light purple nepps are carefully layered and rolled off the blending board. Each rolag is constructed in the same manner with the same proportions of each fiber for consistency in spinning. They are a joy to spin!
Rolags are sold by the ounce, (about 30g or three to six rolags), and are in limited supply.
100g of Superfine, Superwash Merino Fingering wool, Mystic is the big sister to Blue Cypress. She’s a little bolder, a little louder, but not too much!

Particle Effects is a fun neutral base to use on its own or with colourwork. Dyed a concrete grey with speckles that have been described as "campfire", "safety cone and construction zone", and "phoenix", it was difficult to settle on just one name for this versatile, grounding colour.

Power Play is a fight for attention. Who will win out, its deep purples or its moody blues? Or can they play well together? Power Play is twice dyed, bringing out those deeper tones and bold colourplay.
